A “with me” story you helping someone discover God by sharing the gospel or bringing them to church; a story of you helping someone plug in & belong to the body of Christ; a story of you raising up someone to serve alongside you; and a story of you and another believer taking the gospel to folks who need to know Jesus.

Our scorecard are the numbers within our discipleship strategy (Discover, Belong, Serve, Go) that we measure for effective ministry. We know numbers don’t tell the whole story, but tracking trends of growth or areas of ineffectiveness are actually what got us to “with me” as we realized we hadn’t placed near enough emphasis on evangelism and raising up leaders to send them out.

We have a discipleship resource called First Steps for new Christ followers that you will walk that person through. Our goal is not to offer a class, but instead for you to disciple that new believer in the ways of following Jesus.

We have a seminar coming soon, offered by a very reputable and endorsed church leader who will give us the tools and inspiration to begin sharing the gospel confidently and effectively.

One of our Equip U courses will be our staff leading church leaders, life group participants, and anyone else through First Steps, to not only strengthen your walk with Christ, but also equip you to use the study with a new believer.

The best thing to do is sign up for EQUIP U this spring.

While we would encourage you to take the EQUIP U training is not 100% necessary, if you feel comfortable leading a new believer through it.

There is a saying in leadership that culture eats strategy or breakfast. Campaigns start and stop, however the culture of an organization never sleeps. We don’t want “with me” to be something we do for a year and then move on; the idea of reaching the lost and raising up leaders makes up much of the vision of our church.

We know numbers don’t tell the whole story, but numbers don’t lie. At Grace we aren’t about seeing numbers climb for the sake of seeing numbers climb, that’s why we want to celebrate the right numbers. If our discipleship strategy is effective at reaching the lost, discipling the believer, serving the church, and going to our neighbor and the nations, numbers will reflect that.
