Campus Pastor
The position assists the Pastoral team, church staff, and lay leadership in leading the church campus to achieve its mission to REACH, RAISE & SEND. It will provide pastoral care & leadership to the specific campus congregation alongside the rest of pastoral staff.

Staff Leadership: The Campus Pastor is responsible for strategic coordination of the ministry staff team and the implementation of Sunday Worship services at his specific campus. He will lead a team to accomplish the strategy to help people Discover God, Belong to a Life Group, Serve the community, & Go from their neighbors to the nations. As the primary leader at his campus, he will:
Serve as an integral member of the pastoral ministry team.
Build the unity and team spirit of the campus team through fellowship, encouragement, cooperation, prayer support, and other appropriate ways as he serves His Lord Jesus Christ and the church.
Lead the campus to champion Grace’s vision, mission, values, strategy, and measures, while teaching and leading others to do the same.
Assist the Director of Administration in projecting future staffing needs regarding staff roles and new additions.
Network with other church leaders in the community to bring about gospel change in the community.
Provide gospel clarity through pastoral moments, benedictions, group settings/trainings, and other teaching opportunities, as requested. This will include preaching sermons on occasion.
Work alongside the central leads to promote gospel unity and cohesiveness: participate in meetings, training, and coaching.
Use centrally developed resources and processes in context.
Use the church vision, mission, and plumblines as boundaries to execute Sunday services and weekday ministries with excellence, and ensure every Guest Services team has qualified leaders at church services.
Continually capture stories of God at Work and share them with the staff so the entire church can celebrate.
Make disciples through engagement in the ministries and events of the church (Life Groups, Baptism, Starting Point, Serve Teams, Sunday message responses, etc.).
Develop and train in conjunction to the central leaders, all leadership roles across the campus, including Group leaders, Serve Team Leaders, etc.
Serve as the point person for all Groups, ensuring ongoing recruitment, equipping, health, accurate attendance, and new group listings.
Provide pastoral care: prayer, shepherding appointments, encouragement, hospital and home visits, discipline, counseling, weddings, and funerals; following church policies and procedures.
Lead and oversee the equipping of lay leadership at the mountain campus.
Lead, care, and develop the campus staff (paid & volunteer), helping them cultivate their walk with God and ensuring ministry standards are being met through weekly team meetings and monthly 1:1 meetings. This includes both personal and professional development.
Lead a Life Group for personal and family spiritual development.
Work with the Executive Director of Administration on the campus budget and maintain frequent communication with the Executive Pastor.

Endorse and display the church’s vision, values, and operating principles.
Demonstrate care and concern toward fellow workers, members of the church, and the community.
Demonstrate a servant’s attitude at all times.
Regular and reliable attendance
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Meet biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3.
Have a Masters degree or higher, or working toward it in an accredited seminary
Have proven experience in mobilizing and raising lay volunteers and leaders
Able to clearly communicate vision and values.
Have five or more years leading within a church setting, able to understand, motivate, and support ministry leaders
Have effective public communication skills

Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information
Must be able to exercise sound judgment and positively influence and lead others
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

The Campus Pastor reports to the Executive Pastor.
The Campus Pastor will be a full time position.
