Starting Point is the perfect opportunity to learn more about Grace, including our mission, vision, core values, and what it looks like to get connected and serve. This class takes place from 12:30–3 PM and is offered six times throughout the year.

Guest Services
Our Guest Services team strives to reflect the love of Christ from the moment each person arrives on campus. Whether serving through parking, coffee, greeting, or hospitality, their goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where every guest feels seen, valued, and at home.
❋ Coffee TeamServe as a warm and welcoming presence for guests by creating a friendly environment, initiating conversations, and assisting with coffee service to help people feel at home at Grace.
❋ Cookie Team MemberServe by providing a home baked cookie as an added touch to our first time guest gift.
❋ First Time Guest Identifier Serve as a friendly and attentive presence by identifying first-time guests, helping connect them with a Guest Guide, answering questions, and assisting guests as needed to create a welcoming experience at Grace.
❋ GreeterServe as a friendly and welcoming presence by engaging guests in conversation, helping them navigate the campus, and personally walking them to their destination or the First Time Guest Tent to ensure they feel comfortable and connected at Grace.
❋ Section HostServe as a welcoming and helpful presence during worship services by assisting guests with seating, helping create a comfortable worship environment, and supporting service flow through offering collection and guest assistance.
❋ Crossing Guard Serve by creating a safe and welcoming environment in the parking lot by helping guests cross safely, directing traffic when needed, and greeting people with friendliness and hospitality as they arrive at Grace.
❋ First Time Guest Tent Serve as a welcoming and hospitable first impression for guests by building conversations, assisting with the First Time Guest Check-In process, gathering contact information, answering questions, and helping guests feel valued through a warm and friendly experience.
❋ Medical TeamServe by providing medical support and first aid assistance during services and events, helping maintain a safe environment through preparedness, training, coordination with security, and oversight of health and safety procedures.
❋ Children's Check-InServe as a welcoming and hospitable first impression for families by assisting with children’s check-in, answering questions, gathering important child information, troubleshooting the check-in system, and helping guests navigate the building.
❋ First Time Guest Guide Serve as a welcoming guide for first-time guests by building relationships, helping families navigate the campus and children’s check-in process, answering questions, and creating a comfortable and connected experience from the moment they arrive.
❋ Golf Cart DriverServe as a welcoming and hospitable presence by greeting guests, initiating conversations, and safely transporting them to their destination while helping them navigate the campus and entrances at Grace.
❋ Parking TeamServe as a welcoming and safety-focused presence in the parking lot by directing traffic, assisting guests, maintaining clear communication with team members, and helping create an organized and safe arrival experience for everyone at Grace.
❋ Welcome TeamServe by creating a joyful and welcoming environment where guests experience the love of Christ through genuine hospitality, while supporting the church’s mission through preparedness, positivity, and intentional guest engagement.
Grace Kids
Our Grace Kids team is passionate about making an impact in the life of every child who walks through our doors. From Kids Worship and games to small moments like snack time, our team is dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can grow in their relationship with the Lord.
❋ Kids Ministry Position (K-5th Grade)Our values in kids ministry are to worship Jesus, be safe, and have fun! When you serve in kids ministry, you are leading kids to do exactly that. Kids volunteers serve in kids ministry by teaching God’s Word to kids ages K-5th, build relationships with the kids, create an engaging and fun environment, and lead kids in our 3 values!
❋ Preschool Ministry Position (Infants-5yr)Our mission is to partner with parents to reach raise and send the NextGen. Our vision is to raise resilient disciples to discover, belong, serve, and go, and equip families to parent and love their children in every age and phase of life. Our values in are to worship Jesus, be safe, and have fun. Volunteers are responsible for guiding preschoolers in age appropriate, foundational bible studies and other classroom activities. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, loved and are having fun!
Grace Students
Our Student Ministry volunteers are passionate about investing in the next generation. Whether on Wednesday nights or during special events, they strive to build meaningful relationships with students, lead by example, and help guide them as they grow in their faith and step into adulthood.
❋ Student Ministry VolunteerOur Youth Life Group Volunteers are committed to helping students grow in their relationship with Christ by building meaningful relationships, leading discussions, and creating spaces where students can belong and be discipled. Leaders serve during weekly Wednesday gatherings and special events by shepherding students through mentorship, prayer, encouragement, and intentional community.
Grace Worship
Our Worship Ministry volunteers are passionate about creating a meaningful and seamless worship experience for the church. Through their dedication, creativity, and attention to detail, they help lead others into an atmosphere of worship each week.
❋ PropresenterServe behind the scenes by operating presentation and lighting systems with focus and attention to detail, ensuring lyrics, slides, visuals, and lighting cues run smoothly throughout the worship experience.
❋ Facebook ModeratorServe behind the scenes by helping moderate our Facebook livestream during Sunday services or First Wednesdays, engaging with online viewers through the chat and helping create a welcoming digital experience for everyone tuning in.
Grace Outreach
The Outreach Ministry at Grace exists to serve and support both our local community and those within our church family who may be walking through difficult seasons or in need of practical care and encouragement.
❋ Special Needs MinistryThe Special Needs Ministry Volunteer provides Christ-centered support to individuals with special needs and their families by helping create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment where every person is valued and cared for.
❋ Widows MinistryThe Widows Ministry Support Volunteer helps create a warm, Christ-centered environment where widows are encouraged, cared for, and connected through fellowship activities and gatherings. This role provides practical assistance and relational support during ministry events.
❋ Foster/Adoption MinistryServe in this ministry by helping provide respite nights throughout the year for foster and adoptive families within our church, or by committing to pray monthly for these families and the journeys they are walking through.
You can also get involved with the Safe Babies Program through DSS, which works toward family reunification and support for vulnerable children. If you feel the Lord leading you even further, consider stepping into foster care and opening your home to children in need.
❋ Grounds/Up-keep MinistryServe in this ministry by helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming outdoor environment for children, families, and our church community. Opportunities include supporting playground safety, caring for mulch and landscaping, and assisting with outdoor cleaning and power washing around campus.
❋ Benevolence MinistryThe Benevolence Ministry Volunteer assists the church in providing compassionate, confidential, and practical support to individuals and families in need. This role helps ensure that those seeking assistance are cared for with dignity and connected to appropriate church or community resources.
Grace Communications
The Communications Team at Grace serves by helping tell the story of what God is doing through photo, video, graphics, slides, and informational materials. Through creativity and attention to detail, this ministry helps support and strengthen the vision and branding of Grace.
❋ Photography VolunteerThe Videographer Support position serves alongside the Videography Lead by capturing video content during big days, events, and special moments, then editing that footage for use on social media, the website, announcements, and other communication platforms. This position may also assist with a variety of church video projects through both filming and editing, including life change stories, event recap videos, countdown videos, and other creative content that helps share what God is doing through the church.
The Photography Support position serves alongside the Photography Lead by capturing photo and video content during big days, events, and special moments, then editing that content for use on social media, the website, and other communication platforms.
❋ Videography Volunteer❋ Next Steps VolunteerThis position serves by being available after each of our three services at Next Steps to help guests and attendees purchase merch, sign up for events, and answer general questions about the church, creating a welcoming and helpful experience for everyone who stops by.
Grace Discipleship
Discipleship at Grace happens through Life Groups! Life Groups are small groups of around 10–12 people who meet regularly to grow in their faith together through encouragement, fellowship, prayer, and Bible-centered discussion.
❋ Life Group LeaderOur Life Group Leaders help people move from simply attending church to living in an authentic biblical community by creating a welcoming environment where people can grow in their relationship with Jesus and with one another. Life Group Leaders shepherd and care for their group by leading gospel-centered discussions, encouraging prayer and accountability, tracking attendance and engagement, helping group members take next steps in their spiritual journey, and fostering a culture of belonging, service, and multiplication. They model spiritual maturity, build relationships inside and outside of group gatherings, communicate consistently with members, and partner with church leadership to help people discover community, grow in discipleship, and live on mission.
