Mountain Campus

Launching August 2026

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Several years ago God placed it on the leadership of Grace to begin a gospel work on the mountain. In the last 2 years our population of people driving from that region has grown to over 50 people. Grace currently has people who drive from Spruce Pine, Bakersville, Little Switzerland, Mt. Mitchell, and Burnsville. With God’s help we want to see these mountain communities transformed by the gospel of Jesus.

  • A church plant is a group of people we commission to go and start an autonomous church, with a new pastor, and new mission and vision. Our Mountain campus is still Grace Community Church, worshiping in a different location. The Mountain campus carries the same mission, vision, and DNA of Grace, and remains under the leadership, budget, and identity of Grace McDowell.

  • Our plan is to launch our first services from our mountain location in August 2026!

  • The services at our Mountain location will be just like that of our McDowell location.

  • Our pastors from the McDowell location will rotate to preach, as well as our Mountain campus pastor. All preaching will be live and in-person.

  • The campus pastor position will be posted December 8, 2025. The other positions will be worship and student associate.

  • Every Sunday during worship there will be preschool for ages 0-5. During the message portion of the weekly worship gathering kids grades K-5 will go into a time of small group teaching. Wednesday nights middle and high school students will gather for worship and time in The Word.

  • There are life groups already meeting in communities on the mountain. If you are interested in joining a group contact jonathan@graceforall.org.

  • The campus location is TBD, but a decision on that will be coming January 2026. The service time is 9am.

  • TBD.
