Tammy serves as the Office Administrator and Ministry Support at Grace Community Church, bringing a heart for service and a background in critical care to the position. Before joining the staff, Tammy dedicated 25 years as a nationally registered Paramedic, working with Rutherford County and Mission Hospital.

Since becoming a member in October 2021, she has been an active volunteer, running sermon and worship slides, serving on the Power Place prayer team, and occasionally assisting with the medical team. 

Tammy moved to McDowell County in 1980, from Upstate New York where she has lived ever since. She is a proud mother and grandmother to four married adult children and seven grandchildren, with one more expected in early 2026. After much prayer, Tammy felt called to transition her career to serve the Lord at GCC and looks forward to this new season of ministry.
