I have known the love of God throughout my life. I was blessed to be raised by godly parents and to walk in a relationship with the Lord from an early age. At 11 years old, I accepted Christ and was baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Marion. Through the many trials I’ve faced, God has shaped me with compassion and a desire to help others. My prayer is to share the same grace and peace He gave me in difficult seasons so that others may discover the blessings in their own journeys through the valleys.
I was born on the coast of North Carolina in a little town called “Little Washington” and moved to Marion when I was six. Today, I live in Old Fort with my husband, Patrick, along with our cat, Pepper, and 5 lively ducks. Together, Patrick and I are grateful for our blended family of four loving adult children, two wondeful daughter in laws, and most recently our 2 beautiful grangirls!
I began attending Grace Community Church in 2005 and joined the staff in January 2020. My professional background is in business operations, finance, and personnel, and I now enjoy bringing that experience to serve here at Grace.
I love being around joyful people. I truly believe the world would be a better place if we all chose to begin each day with the simple intention to show God's love and encourage others.
