I was born and raised in Durham, NC and came to faith in Christ at the age of 10 during the funeral of a family member. I was struck by the beauty and truth of the Gospel and surrendered my life to Christ.  I am married to Tessa, whom I met while attending UNCG, outside of my salvation, she is the greatest evidence of God's grace in my life. Together, we have two children who we are so grateful that God has gifted us with—Elijah (11) and Emalyn (8). After college, I went on to complete my master’s degree at Southeastern and began serving in pastoral ministry. 

Over the years, I have served in a variety of pastoral roles across the Southeast, but I am thankful to be back in my home state and serving in this community. I am passionate about discipleship and helping others grow into their God-given potential. 

I love spending time with my family, enjoying just about any sport, relaxing on the front porch with good company, a glass of sweet tea, and sharing great food.
