    This residency is designed to help equip future pastors and church planters to lead at a high level within the local church.

    This residency is for those with previous ministry experience who desire to plant a church, lead a campus, or work in a high-level leadership position within a church.

  • Partner with parents to disciple the next generation…

    These tracks focus on the spiritual formation of kids and students.

    Residents will grow in their knowledge of age and stage ministry and in their ability to evangelize, disciple, and lead.

QUESTIONS

  • The development experience is a unique combination of theological study and practical ministry application.

    Your degree equips you to minister to others and will help you be prepared for future job opportunities.

    To grow in leadership, we believe you need the opportunity to lead, so we want to connect you to a team of seasoned ministry leaders who will guide you as you begin to engage in practical ministry.

  • Once you complete the residency, you will have 2-years of practical work experience from Grace Community Church, your Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and skills to lead in various environments.

    Within the program, we will identify your professional skillset and create a personalized plan to prepare you for the future.

  • The ideal candidate is a follower of Christ who has a calling on their life for full-time vocational ministry.

    They are eager to get hands-on experience in ministry, and they desire to grow in their love for God and people by diving into further theological study.

  • The Residency at Grace is fully support-raised. Each resident will be responsible for raising their own salaries for the two-year program.

    Grace partners with an incredible organization called Reliant that trains, coaches, and manages everything you need to help you with the support raising process.

    With the best tools and resources at your disposal, support raising will be an excellent training ground for future opportunities in ministry.

  • Housing is provided by the church, however you’re free to secure your own housing.

  • Interest forms will be received through March 15, 2024. Once an interest form is received, the potential resident will have a conversation with a pastor and formal application will be sent to the resident. Interest form link: https://forms.gle/pekBZ3QYHksM2Grk8.

    The assessment and interview phase takes place after the interest conversation.

    Residents will begin August 2024.
